Michael is the head of the Multimedia Unit at the Harold B. Lee Library and acts as the producer for library special projects that require video and multimedia production.

Prior to his employment at Brigham Young University, Michael spent seven years working in the film, video game, animation, and visual effects industries as a senior 3D artist, a compositor, an editor, and a producer’s assistant. During that period of time he was employed by Viewpoint Digital and Zygote Media, both of which were doing 3D content creation for some of Hollywood’s leading gaming and visual effects studios. Michael has worked with such notable clients as Electronic Arts, Microsoft Games, New Line Cinema, Mattel, Sony, the Discovery Channel, and Northrop Grumman.

Michael attended Utah State University and earned a Bachelors Degree in Education, a Masters of Science in Instructional Technology, and is currently completing a second Masters Degree in Fine Arts.
