This exhibition highlighted the life and legacy of Florence Nightingale, in honor of the 100th anniversary of her death.
Known as the “lady with a lamp” and the founder of modern nursing, Nightingale made many contributions to public health, statistics, and nursing education. Manuscripts and books written by and about Nightingale from the HBLL Special Collections were on display on the main floor of the Harold B. Lee Library to help visitors gain a greater understanding of Nightingale and her work. The Lee Library was pleased to join with BYU’s College of Nursing to sponsor this exhibition.
