The 1509 Moralia is the first Greek edition of this work of the first/second century A.D. essayist. The editor, Demetrius Ducas, was assisted by Erasmus. The volumes are the product of many years' work, and Aldus complains that the work was so difficult that he was nearly forced to abandon the project many times.
