Shaun McMurdie has worked as the Exhibition Services Department Manager Designer at the Brigham Young University Harold B. Lee Library since 2001. He has been involved in the design and installation of more than 45 library exhibitions and displays since 1995.

Before coming to BYU, he worked as head of the Conservation Division at The Ohio Sate University William Oxley Thompson Library in Columbus, Ohio; as the Collections Conservator at the University of Utah J. Willard Marriott Library in Salt Lake City, Utah; and as Conservation/Restoration department supervisor at Roswell Bookbinding in Phoenix, Arizona.

In 1992 McMurdie received a BA in Humanities from BYU with an emphasis in Spanish literature and minored in International Relations.
